“Vinyasa” in Sanskrit means to link, flow or place in a special way and refers to all styles of  yoga where movement synchronised with breath while flowing from one pose to the other without stopping. This is a dynamic style , it has a faster pace compared to other types of yoga, so it doesn’t focus on technique as much, more so just coordinating your breathing with each movement. Vinyasa incorporates systematic exercises and self-development techniques for body, mind and spirit.

 

It will also build strength, balance and flexibility. It is advisable to try at least one Hatha class to familiarise yourself with basic yoga poses. Vinyasa is a great way to start your day to burn some calories or to release all forms of tension after many hours of work.
