Meditation achieves a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state by using techniques such as mindfulness or focusing on a particular object, thought or activity. It can be used to reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and pain; and increases peace, perception, self-concept, and well-being. It is a process of focusing your attention inward, bringing about a sense of peace and self-acceptance.
Meditation is a part of all restorative yoga classes. In our age and ability appropriate classes set in calming supportive and happy environment you and your children will learn powerful relaxation and breathing techniques.
