HIIT is a form of interval training, a cardiovascular exercise strategy alternating short periods of intense exercise with less-intense recovery periods. This type of training gets your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time. Very beneficial for heart health improves insulin resistance and decreases blood pressure. Our high intensity interval training classes typically lasts 30 minutes, but these vary based on fitness level. Research has shown that HIIT regimens produced significant reductions in the fat mass of the whole-body.
